Coldest Brisbane December day in 100 123 years

Out here it struggled to get over 17 degrees today. And checking the rain gauge this evening there's 88mm in it, all from today.

It's still raining... I don't think it will ever stop. I think I should empty the rain gauge 'cos I reckon it's going to be going well over 100mm overnight!

OMG!! I absolutely hate the heat, but all through 2011, and through much of 2010, I've been moaning about the COLD!
2011 would have to have been the coldest year ever ... well, in my lifetime at least. Mild to average Summer, cold Autumn, and bloody freezing - yes freezing - Spring. And as for Summer so far, well, we all know about that. Today is December 8th and I have all my Winter warmies on.

Carbon tax is stopping the warming.
