A furore about abattoirs in Indonesia, but not a peep about rape in custody inquiry

Australians sell their cattle overseas. Once the cattle are sold, they are not owned by Australians any more.

JOE HOCKEY: The Government came out with a balanced view after 24 hours and said we will stop sending live cattle to those questionable abattoirs. That was the right decision but they panicked.

We gave them bipartisan support at that point and then they panicked and banned all live exports and now you are seeing complete meltdown in northern Australian cattle industry with the price impact flowing through to the whole meat industry. (more)

But there's not a peep about Fielding's about face on child abuse regarding the request for an inquiry into the  Heiner affair.

Found this while looking up "posed pictures of little soldiers" cooked up by the MSM... I know, it'd be pretty hard to find posed pictures of the little soldiers, they don't need to be posed, when taught to hate and kill from the womb.

Israel is accused of causing psychological trauma to the children of Gaza by bombing over the past three weeks.

"Children have become traumatised and very anxious, constantly on alert due to the
continuous bombing," said psychiatrist Eyad al-Sarraj, head of the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme, which operates nine mental health clinics in Gaza.

"Children are restless, sleepless, aggressive, and bedwetting is common."

So teaching children to hate from the cradle is not traumatising them? Telling lies about those they hate is not traumatising?

Parents charged with spiking drink and supplying alcohol to a minor.

WTF? This child is 18 months old.

Surely some sort of endangerment charge or child abuse, should be made, not these ones which sound like the child was a teenager and/or the teenager had a spiked drink.

They should be charged with stupidity for filming the child after they'd fed him/her* the alcohol.

Catalogue may reignite Bill Henson row

IN a move that could reignite the divisive children-in-art debate, a photograph by artist Bill Henson of a naked girl has been reproduced on the internet and in an art auction catalogue.

Auction house Lawson-Menzies has displayed the work, Untitled 1985/86, in publicity for the sale in two weeks.....

The director of the National Association for the Visual Arts, Tamara Winikoff, said: "Bill Henson's work has been assessed by the Classification Board on the basis of community complaints and the board agreed it was perfectly fine to be seen by the general community and it didn't break the law.

"That should be the end of it.

If nothing else it's in poor taste. Extremely poor taste.
